The Board of Directors of ml&s Holding SA has appointed Bernd Odoj as Managing Director Operations of ml&s Holding SA, effective September 1, 2026. This appointment strengthens the ml&s Group’s leadership at the holding company level.
Now that the group’s companies operate globally under the unified ml&s brand, the aim is to enhance coordination on across locations.
The holding company’s specific mandate is to manage the operating companies, improve collaboration on between sites, leverage synergies, and shape the group’s strategic development.
In his new role, Bernd Odoj will be responsible for cross-site coordination on and the further development of operational areas. Together with Dr. Thomas Beck, Managing Director of Finance, he will form the holding company’s executive management team. They will also jointly drive the group strategy and key strategic projects for the ml&s Group. In doing so, the ml&s Group continues to deliberately rely on strong operating companies that act with a high degree of autonomy.
Bernd Odoj possesses decades of experience in electronics manufacturing and maintains close ties with the ml&s Group’s companies and markets. Around 25 years ago, he and a partner acquired the current Greifswald site from Siemens AG via a management buy-out and played a important role in shaping its development over the years. Today, Greifswald is the ml&s Group’s largest location.
As part of his new group-wide responsibilities, Bernd Odoj will step down from his current role as Managing Director of ml&s GmbH & Co. KG in Greifswald at the end of 2026 - following a transition period - to focus entirely on his duties for the ml&s Group.
By expanding its leadership structure, the ml&s Group is laying the foundation on to drive its continued growth as an international corporate group. The Board of Directors looks forward to continuing its collaboration with Bernd Odoj in his new role and wishes him every success in this task.
