L for Logistics: thought through from A to Z
Logistics already begin when you place your order. From the moment we receive it until you get the bill, all processes run according to our SAP logistics system, which is the logistical interface between us and you.
By placing an order you become integrated into the ml&s logistics system. You send us the necessary
components to have them produced by ml&s. The delivered parts are recorded by the incoming goods
department, checked and taken to storage.
After production and all tests on your products, our dispatch service ensures that they reach their
destinations safely and quickly. If you happen to include goods from other countries or deliver to
other countries, you can rely on our specially trained staff to deal with customs formalities.
ml&s' storage: optimized and efficient
ml&s has modern rotating shelves with more than 16,000 storage spaces right next to the assembly
lines for SMDs and THDs.
Our central store has 1400 spaces for flat pallets or Euro-sized crate pallets and more than
12,000 flat spaces of various sizes. All processes are SAP-controlled.
ml&s dispatch: better safe than sorry
Tell us the destination and we look after the rest! For years we have been carrying out all dispatch
orders - some of them extremely complex - for Siemens AG, with great success. We know all about the
various packing aids, which we select according to the goods to be dispatched. You can be sure that
your shipments will survive the journey undamaged. When necessary we pack the goods in foil -
automatically, thanks to a foil-stretching machine. We ship goods of all sizes and types, including
dangerous goods, all over the world. We are familiar with all the formalities: we will look after
customs procedures for your exports in cooperation with the local customs authorities, of course
taking export control regulations into account.
