Successful certification according to OHSAS 18001:2007 and DIN ISO 14001:2005
Greifswald, 29 February 2008.
The certification according to OHSAS 18001:2007 and DIN ISO 14001:2005 by the representatives of DQS, Dr. Paxinos and Mr. Gaus, from 26 to 28 February 2008 was successfully obtained by ml&s GmbH & Co. KG.
Both the first-time certification of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS) and the re-certification of the enviromental management system were without deviations.
Successful recertification according to ISO/TS 16949.
Greifswald, 15 January 2008.
The recertification according to ISO/TS 16949 by the representatives of DQS, Mr. Keskin and Mr. Pöschl-La Marca, on 14 and 15 January 2008 was successfully obtained by ml&s GmbH & Co. KG.
Amongst others, the fulfilment of customer requirements, the exploitation of the improvement potential (as a result of the DQS audit in 2007) and the high degree of acceptance of the management system of our company on all levels were assessed as particularly positive.
Topping-out ceremony for new ml&s production hall
Greifswald, 29 June 2007. ml&s has celebrated the topping-out ceremony for its new production hall at 3 Siemensallee in Greifswald today. The hall is being built within the framework of a joint project in cooperation with Solon Nord GmbH to expand the production of photovoltaic modules. The completion of the new hall is planned for mid-December 2007.
Symbolic ground breaking for a new ml&s production hall to expand the manufacture of photovoltaic modules.
Greifswald, 19 March 2007. This morning saw the start for the erection of the new ml&s productions hall in Siemensallee in Greifswald within the framework of a joint project in cooperation with Solon Nord GmbH for expanding the production of photovoltaic modules. At 11 a.m., the symbolic ground breaking was performed in the presence of representatives from the project planning office Vollack Expert Leipzig and Mr. Koebernik, manager of Solon Nord GmbH.
Successful recertification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2005.
Greifswald, 2 March 2007. The recertification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2005 was successfully obtained by ml&s. The representatives of DQS, Dr. Paxinos and Mr. Gaus, attested ml&s economical use of resources and the environmentally-conscious behaviour all departments of the company.
Recertification according to ISO/TS 16949 awarded with positive result.
Greifswald, 11 January 2007. The recertification according to ISO/TS 16949, conducted by Mr. Keskin from DQS from 8 bis 11 January 2007 was obtained by ml&s GmbH & Co. KG with a positive result. This means a further consolidation of our company's position as a supplier of series products for the automotive industry. Apart from an overall positive impression, the auditor emphasised the competence and motivation of all staff and the open communication on all levels.
Successful system audit
Greifswald, 27 March 2006.
The follow-up audit according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 was passed successfully by ml&s with the final inspection carried out on 27 March 2006.
This means that we are an approved supplier of series products for the car industry.
Successful environmental audit
Greifswald, 6 March 2006.
The follow-up audit according to DIN EN ISO 14001 was successfully obtained by ml&s.
The auditor, Dr. Paxinos, was impressed by both the development of ml&s since its foundation and the environmental commitment shown by our company. He especially stressed the changeover to lead-free processes which was completed ahead of schedule, the commitment in the field of photovoltaics as well both waste separation and the general order and cleanliness in all departments.
Lead-free/RoHS-compliant manufacturing at ml&s several months prior to this becoming a legal requirement
Greifswald, 1st March 2006. After we created the technological prerequisites for lead-free/RoHS-compliant manufacturing in 2005, we have now made the first products using lead-free processes for our customers Siemens and DeTeWe. The legal requirement to replace lead and other hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment will enter into force on 1 July 2006.
